The River District has rapidly emerged as a dynamic, close-in neighborhood featuring panoramic views of the Nashville skyline and Cumberland River. Located only 4 miles by car from downtown Nashville, this area provides both a retreat from being in the middle of the bustling city and the convenience of being able to get there quickly. Exploding in popularity, the River District will soon be brimming with music, restaurants, offices and residences. Nashville’s first ever river taxis are also planned to take you to and from downtown on both sides of the Cumberland.
